1. Orders & Payment

• Your booking or order is confirmed once payment has been received.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking or ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Prices will be confirmed at the time of ordering.

• Any changes requested after your order has been confirmed may incur an additional charge, depending on the nature of the change and any additional materials or preparation required.

2. Cancellations

• If you need to cancel your order or booking, please provide as much notice as possible.

• Cancellation charges may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the event date and the value and nature of the order.

• Where materials, personalised items or other products have already been purchased or prepared specifically for your order, we reserve the right to retain an appropriate amount of the payment to cover these costs.

• Any refund will be considered in accordance with the circumstances of the cancellation and any applicable consumer rights.

3. Personalised & Bespoke Orders

• Please check all details carefully before placing your order, including names, spellings, ages, colours, dates and any other personalised information provided.

• Ambition Events cannot be held responsible for errors or incorrect information supplied by the customer.

• If you require a particular colour scheme, theme, design or bespoke style, please contact us before placing your order so that we can discuss your requirements and confirm availability.

• Bespoke designs may vary slightly from photographs or examples due to the availability of balloons, materials and other decorative elements.

4. Collection & Delivery

• Once your order has been collected by the customer, responsibility for the safe handling and care of the products passes to the customer.

• For delivered or installed balloon displays, responsibility for the care of the display passes to the customer once the display has been delivered, installed and handed over.

• Balloons are delicate and must be handled with care. Keep them away from sharp objects, rough surfaces and anything that may cause friction or damage.

• Delivery and installation charges may apply depending on the location, distance and requirements of the order. These charges will be confirmed before the order is accepted.

• We cannot guarantee the condition of balloons or displays where damage occurs after collection or handover due to handling, storage, transportation, weather or other conditions outside our control.

5. Balloon Care

Balloons are delicate and require appropriate care to help them remain in good condition.

Please:

• Keep balloons away from sharp objects, rough surfaces and anything that could cause friction.

• Keep balloons away from naked flames, heaters and other sources of extreme heat.

• Avoid leaving balloons in hot vehicles or other enclosed areas that may become excessively warm.

• Keep balloons away from prolonged direct sunlight where possible, as heat and sunlight can affect their appearance and lifespan.

• Be mindful of very cold temperatures, which can cause foil balloons to temporarily shrink or appear deflated.

• Follow any specific care instructions provided with your order.

Please note that balloon longevity can vary depending on the type of balloon, environment, temperature and how the balloons are handled.

6. Outdoor Displays

• We strongly recommend keeping balloon displays indoors wherever possible.

• Outdoor conditions such as rain, wind, direct sunlight, heat and changes in temperature can affect the appearance, stability and lifespan of balloons.

• Outdoor balloon displays are therefore subject to weather conditions and may not last as long as indoor displays.

• We cannot be held responsible for damage or deterioration caused by weather or environmental conditions outside our control.

• Where an outdoor display has been requested, we will advise you of any considerations or limitations before installation where possible.

7. Balloon Displays

• Balloon displays are created according to the details of the confirmed order.

• Due to the handmade nature of our work and the availability of balloons and materials, there may be slight variations in colour, size, shape and overall appearance.

• We reserve the right to make minor alterations to a design where necessary to ensure the display is safe, stable and suitable for the intended space.

• Where a specific balloon, colour or material becomes unavailable, we will use the closest suitable alternative where possible.

8. Venue Requirements

• The customer is responsible for ensuring that the venue is aware of the balloon display and that all necessary permission has been obtained before installation.

• The customer is responsible for informing Ambition Events of any venue rules, restrictions, access requirements or limitations that may affect the installation or display.

• Where installation methods have been agreed or approved by the customer or venue, Ambition Events cannot be held responsible for damage to paintwork, walls, ceilings or furniture resulting from those approved installation methods, except where caused by our negligence or breach of applicable law.

• We reserve the right to alter or decline an installation method if we believe it may be unsafe or unsuitable.

9. Hired Items

• Any items hired from Ambition Events remain our property and must be returned by the agreed date and in the same condition in which they were provided, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.

• The customer may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of hired items that are lost, damaged or returned in an unsuitable condition.

• Additional charges may apply where hired items are not returned on time or require cleaning, repair or replacement.

10. Photographs & Videos

• We may take photographs and videos of our balloon displays and other work for use on our website, social media and marketing materials.

• We will make reasonable efforts to avoid including identifiable people in photographs of our work where requested by the customer.

• If you do not want people attending your event to appear in photographs or videos taken by Ambition Events, please let us know before the event.

• We will respect reasonable requests regarding the use of images, subject to any legal or practical limitations.

11. Allergies

• Many balloons and balloon-related products contain latex.

• Customers are responsible for informing Ambition Events of any known latex or other relevant allergies before placing an order.

• Please also ensure that guests attending the event are made aware where appropriate.

• While we will take reasonable care when informed of an allergy, we cannot guarantee a completely latex-free environment unless this has been specifically discussed and agreed with us in advance.

12. Children & Pets

• Balloons can present a choking or suffocation hazard, particularly when popped, deflated or broken.

• Popped or deflated balloons should be removed and disposed of immediately.

• Children should not be left unsupervised with balloons.

• Balloons and balloon accessories should also be kept away from pets, as they may pose a choking, ingestion or other safety risk.

• The customer is responsible for supervising children and pets around balloon displays.

13. Agreement

• By placing an order and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

• These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, bookings, balloon displays, hired items and services provided by Ambition Events unless otherwise agreed in writing.
